I just heard this thing on the radio about comedian Tom Truong up coming movie The Second Coming of Christ. It's a movie about the son of God reborn on earth to save us from armageddon of December 21 2012.

The physical analysis of the thing is enough proof that same sex marraiges are against even nature itself, but the issue has extended beyond this to the realm of who has and has not the right to legislate morality. The key to stopping gay marraige, abortion, pornography, etc.etc; is not found in the judicial branch of our government but rest solely upon the hearts of the representatives of this United States of America who have left their first love and are completely estranged from the love of Jesus Christ. This is not a political issue. It is one of honesty, integrity and a personal soul searching endeavor of each and every American politician. The question is: will we fight the good fight of faith or will we succomb to the god of this world and be no better off and than any other kingdom upon Earth that ever existed? If the political arena turns completely away from God then it is up to each and every born-again child of GOD to be steadfast in his or her faith and be able to bear up under the persecution which will immediately follow. Perilous times, is how the Apostle Paul, under the inspiriation of the Holy Ghost put it: would come. Perilous times are here and we must not look to the world to support us in the battle.... it is not by power and it is not by might but by My Spirit saith the Lord of Hosts. Forgive me if am too bold but this dilemna did not happen overnight. It took years and years of backslidden christianity for this to occur in "One Nation under GOD". I protest against those who will stand on a soap box pleading for sanity from a completely insane economy. There is life only in Christ Jesus the Lord. The ministry of a backslidden, bought out by the world church caused this evil in this land. But that is not a condemnation, only a reproof. Now if America will see life and the pursuit of happiness then it must fall on it's face before the Living God in complete honesty and forsake it's adulterous relationships with the gods of this world. America must return to Jesus Christ and worship the Father in truth and in spirit. If it will not then the church of the Living God must make it known that we will not bow down nor serve their image. Thank you for your time. Mark Finn

Amen. Hello brother Fucci, it has been a while since you helped me back in Oneida. Your post has made me question my determination, as well as reconsider my motivation. As the Apostle Peter said, "Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth." (2 Peter 1:12; i believe that the preceding text, especially verses 3 and 4 support your post in that it is by His divine power that all the things of this life are provided that we need.) The Lord Jesus Christ is Wonderful and the providence of God in Christ is more than enough to support any ambassador in any place at any time.
in His service,
Mark Finn

I don't think a semester goes by where I don't think I am too busy to take a class. It seems that life gets busier and busier. But what are we really busy with? We should be busy studying God's Word. With all things that are important to us we need to carve out the time for it. This is true even with the simple things like spending time as a family or our spouses. If we don't carve that timeout, it is quickly filled with empty nonsense. As I debate taking a class (which I shamefully do every semester), it always comes down to the fact that without fail, with every class I stay focused on the Lord, I am always stretched, and I always gain greater revelation. The Lord always has a situation arise in my life where I can apply exactly what I am learning that semester or someone will ask me a question which is conveniently relative to what I am studying. It is such a great high to use what you learn in class the very next day at work, not because you want to but because that is how the Lord has orchestrated it. Can anyone relate?

My answer agrees with yours. The distinction between Creator and creation is critical to a Biblical response. Nothing existed before God and nothing co-existed with God before He created. Before He created, only He existed. For example, every law is created - whether it's a law of beingness, law of knowledge, law of nature, law of logic, or any other law. This understanding helps to solve the virtual dilemma.

When my children were small and they asked me "Who made God?" I answered them this way.

God always was. See that ant? The life span of the ant is maybe only a year or two. Less if you step on it right now. Do you think that ant will understand how old you are if you could talk to it? No. It would just have to understand that compared to the ants life time, man was always here. The number is just too large for the ant to understand, in relation to us, and the number is just too large for us to understand when we try to compare man's years to God's years; so don't try.
How can God see our whole life at once? The way we see a rabbit in between the rows of lettuce - Mr. Rabbit can't see the rows of beans six rows down, but we can. God can see the whole world the way we see a whole garden.
For children it has to be simplistic. Still I would willingly dare an atheist to take that reasoning apart. When dealing with simple minds, the explanation is best kept simple.
However, I think the answer Dr. Fucci gives is incredibly smart. God exists outside time, matter and space. His answer is good for smart people; for all others, there is the ant and the rabbit theory, which the young and some young at heart like.
