Pastor
Joseph (Joe) Arminio gave his heart to the Lord on February 23, 1978 and had
a radical experience and encounter with the Lord changing his life forever.
He then began attending Nutley Assembly of God (now Nutley Abundant Life
Worship Center) under the oversight of Pastor (now Bishop) Peter Bruno. In
1981, his pastor recognized the hand of the Lord on his life and brought him
on staff full-time.
Pastor Joe studied under the leadership of Bishop Peter Bruno for 10 years
before being sent out to pioneer a new church in 1991. Pastor Joe is the
Founder and Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Worship Center of Whippany, NJ.
The Worship Center is a community friendly, multi-cultural, multi-racial
church.
Pastor Joe established a television program, A New Day, in 1991 that is now
broadcast worldwide. In November of 2000, The R.O.C. House, a state of the
art fitness center was opened as an outreach to the community. Two years
later in 2002, King’s Kids Daycare Center was opened, providing a loving
environment for children from the ages of 0–5 years old. Then in January
2003, Pastor Joe became the General Overseer and Chairman of the Board for a
drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, Renovation House, located in
Spencer, NY and Perth Amboy, NJ. The program produces a high success rate
with over 84% of all graduating residents never returning to drug, alcohol
or substance abuse.
In January 2008, Abundant Life Bible Institute…a ministry training center…
was opened with 85 students enrolled in the first quarter. This was an
exciting time, since the vision of a bible institute was conceived in Pastor
Joe’s heart over 13 years ago. The objective for the bible institute is to
give quality biblical education comprised of two major
components…information (theology) and inspiration (anointing of the Holy
Ghost). These two components along with the unique “hands on” ministry of
impartation will help train and equip students to step into their destiny
and fulfill the call of God on their lives.
While overseeing his home church in Whippany, NJ, Pastor Joe is also the
assistant to Doctor Peter Bruno, Sr., presiding Bishop of ALM International.
He is a part of the Clergy Advisory Council for the Family Policy Council of
New Jersey. He is the Overseer of Hearts of Love Ministries in Pensacola,
FL, Abundant Life Worship Center of Perth Amboy, NJ and is also a board
member for Reigning Life Family Church in Albany, NY. He has also trained
other pastors and religious leaders at various retreats, conferences and
bible schools in the U.S. and abroad.
Pastor Joe and His wife Debbi along with their children, Faith and her
husband Q, Joseph and Joy reside in New Jersey and are active in the work of
the ministry.
