After receiving a Bachelor’s in Biblical Literature at Northeastern Bible College in 1990, Pastor Matt served 9 years as principal of Full Gospel Christian School and two additional years pastoring Crossroads Assembly of God.
For the past 9 years he has pastored Mountaintop Assembly of God. Mountaintop Church was a revitalization work in partnership with the New Jersey District of the Assemblies of God. After starting with less than a dozen people, Mountaintop is now almost 200 people strong. Additionally, Mountaintop has planted 3 Church works in local surrounding communities. These works include; Mountaintop Spanish Church which shares the Hackettstown facility, Holy Spirit Christian Fellowship in Newton, NJ, an alternative community gospel outreach; and Mountaintop Church of Sparta, in Sparta, NJ, reaching a religious, non-Christian population.
Pastor Matt has also served on the sectional committee of the Northwest Section of the New Jersey District of the Assemblies of God since 2003. He has served as Assistant Presbyter for the past 6 years assisting in church planting and revitalization, ministerial credentialing, and overseeing pastoral changeovers.
He has helped a number of Churches back to church health as a certified NCD surveyor and coach.
As part of his passion for training and raising up leadership, Pastor Matt has served principal and instructor at the Northwest campus of the New Jersey District School of ministry in Hackettstown, NJ.
