Pastor Russ gave his heart to Jesus in 1984 as a teenager at a healing crusade in Connecticut. He was miraculously changed and fully committed to the life long pursuit of spreading the Gospel. He takes the proper interpretation of God’s Word very seriously, as well as making it applicable to everyday life.
His call to ministry led him to Bible College and later to earn a Master of Divinity degree. Since 1992 he has served God in a variety of roles: Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor, and Senior Pastor. Most recently he has served as a Chaplain, teacher at the New Jersey District School of Ministry, and is currently pastor of a new church in Parsippany, NJ.
Pastor Russ is married to Eglah Dicksen (who is currently a teacher at Abundant Life Christian School). Together they have two children, Ryan (14) and Raquelle (12). The Dicksen family is committed to making Christ known in all the earth.
